The Rappahannock Beekeepers Association serves the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Stafford county area but have members from Orange and Caroline counties also.

Members have different strengths and beekeeping knowledge. Some have only one bee colony while others have hundreds. As hobbyists, sideliners and professional beekeepers we all share a love for honey bees and their well being.

Interested in becoming a beekeeper? Join us during one of our meetings or shoot us an email and we'll give you all the information you need.

We meet at Salem Church Library at 7pm every 3rd Thursday of the month.

The March 19, 2020 RBA meeting is cancelled.

Due to concerns of the COVID19 virus all Fredericksburg area library branches have cancelled events taking place within their doors. This includes our March bee meeting. The April 16 meeting is TBD.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but in times like this we must all take precautions to stem the tide of this virus. If anyone has any questions or would like to talk honey bees please visit the RBA Facebook Group and post them there. (Likewise with other honey bee related Face Book groups) This is only a small break and soon meetings will be back in full swing. Updates will be posted here, on Face Book and emailed to members.

Please stay safe and be patient. We are all in this together.
